NY Times Genealogy Article
Find your ancestors at the Origins Network
The NY Times has a good article about genealogy today. Theres nothing earth shattering, but does provide an brief overview of Ancestry.com, OneGreatFamily.com and Geni.com. One interesting part is where the author talks about sponsored research trips to Salt Lake City and the relative costs involved. There is also a brief discussion on hiring someone to do your research for you and provides a couple of links to look at if that is the direction you are going. Overall, this is a positive article for genealogy

Amazingly (and inaccurately), the reporter has managed to reduce the 27th annual IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy, which had more than 100 lectures and close to 1,000 attendees to "a five-day trip to the library, sponsored by the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies"!
